This weekend we will be taking a moment to think about those who served our nation and are no longer with us. Yes, it is the unofficial start of summer, and the kickoff of camping season, but let's not forget it's true purpose - the selfless bravery and service of our friends, family, and neighbors. We thank you!

Lots of questions on this, so we wanted to post about it. Campfires are not allowed until the end of the year. You are allowed to cook your foods on gas with a permit. (Available Here: https://bit.ly/2XLHiUI) Please do not bring large portable fire rings. Wood and charcoal fires are prohibited in all areas of Los Padres National Forest including designated Campfire Use sites (including fire rings); however, persons with a valid California Campfire permit may use portable lanterns or stoves using gas, jellied petroleum, or pressurized liquid fuel, with shut-off valves anywhere in the Forest.

We are also observing the temporary forest closure. We are hopeful that taking this time will help ease some burdens for current fires, and lower the risk of creating new issues. All of our campgrounds will be closed (except for Limekiln and our KOA) until 9/17. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. All reservations that take place during that timeline will be fully refunded. We look forward to seeing you later in September. πŸ™β›ΊοΈ

One of these days we will be at camp, at the same time as Awaken Cafe & Roasting, and get treated to these insane gourmet cuppa coffees right at camp! Show us your coffee setups! πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

snuck in a camping trip and didn’t f$ck around with our coffee brew set up. pro tip: if you get up before everyone else and make perfectly dialed coffee and have an airpot ready for your fellow campers as they roll out of their tents, you can win camping. πŸ•
