GBC Prospects 14U Power

That’s a wrap on the 13u season! The boys started preparing in January with Carolina Acceleration and saw their hard work pay off! They won the Perfect Game Gate City Invitational this weekend, going 3-1 while allowing just 2 runs. For the spring season, the team finished with a 20-6 record, 4 tournament wins and 1 Runner-Up finish. They’ll take a much needed break and get back on the field for the 14u fall season.

The boys went 1-1 on the day in their first wood bat tournament, giving up only 1 run. Wish them luck as they start bracket play tomorrow at 11am.

The boys mounted a late comeback, but came up short 5-4 in the quarterfinals this morning. Regardless, it’s always a great day when we get to play baseball with our Greensboro Batting Center coaches and dads! We appreciate all your love and support every day of the year.

After finishing pool play as the #1 seed, the Prospects were rained out today. However, that didn’t stop the boys from having a fun-filled weekend and celebrating two birthdays…Happy Birthday Luke and Nick!

These boys came to play today, going 3-0 and out scoring their opponents 37-3. The hitting and pitching were on point, highlighted by a perfect game! Best of all, we got to celebrate the championship win with the wonderful moms that hold it all together!
