Packet Pickup for CityStage today is currently on a rain delay. We have delayed the start of packet pickup today until 2:00pm. If you can't make it out today we will still have packet pickup before the run Sunday morning.

Folk Fest weekend is here! We're excited to bring our event to life after months of planning. If you've already registered you can pick up your packet at the following locations on Friday and Saturday. Packet pickup will be available on Sunday morning before the run starting at 8:30AM.
The High Point Athletic Club has been kind enough to host a benefit raffle to support the NC Folk Fest. You get 6 tickets for every $5 you spend. You can spread your tickets out or go all in on one item. The choice is yours.

The Folk Fest 5K wouldn't be possible with the help from two of the Triad's most prolific timing companies. If you've run any races in the Triad you've likely had the pleasure of running an event hosted by Trivium Racing or Junction 311. For those that don't know these two companies run competing series in the area.
This is the only race that will see both companies come together for a celebration of our running community. The Folk Festival and the Folk Fest 5K are about brining people together and we are honored to have these two timing companies provide race infrastructure and behind the scenes help to make this first year event happen.

🚨Folk Fest 5K🚨
We are excited to announce Nani Vazana! Nani will be performing on City Stage at 11am following the conclusion of the 5K run.
Nani's soundscape bridges over tradition and modern life, capturing the sounds and smells of the marketplace and fuses them with raw, flamenco like vocals and surprising instrumentations. Her latest record is a magical realistic mosaic.
Nani unveils a piece of history we don’t easily find in other mythology & anthropology. Nani ranked #11 on the RMR chart & #13 on the WMCE chart, represented the Netherlands at the EU Music Festival in Vietnam and performed at the Kennedy Center USA, BBC Radio 3, London Jazz Festival UK & Jodhpur RIFF festival India. Nani is selected to showcase at Folk Alliance 2023 and previously showcased at APAP & NAMM USA, Jazzahead DE and Injazz NL.
