Wednesday November 27 - Sunday, December 1 (Thanksgiving Weekend) in Charlotte, NC.

The North Carolina Open will be held alongside the USM, on November 29 - December 1.

The 2023 US Masters has a record-breaking entry list of 185 players, including 35 GMs and 47 IMs.

This will likely be the largest US Masters ever, and will features more GMs and IMs than any other classical event in US history!

The early registration deadline is today, November 1!

152 players are registered for the 2023 US Masters! This is already the second largest USM in history (last year had 202 players), and includes 35 GMs and 45 IMs.

The 2023 USM should have a higher total number of GMs and IMs than any other tournament in US Chess history. All GMs, IMs, WGMs play for free, with no deduction from prizes if registered by October 20.

The US Masters runs alongside the North Carolina Open in Charlotte over Thanksgiving weekend this November, and is preceded by the CCC Fall GM/IM Norm Invitational.

Over 100 players have registered for the 2023 US Masters, including 33 GMs and 40 IMs.

9 rounds, GM/IM norms possible, part of the FIDE Circuit - don't miss the event of the year!

75 players are registered for the US Masters!

This includes 30 GMs and 30 IMs, including 44 foreign federation players and 5 players rated above 2600 FIDE.

We are up to 50 players registered for the US Masters!

26 GMs and 17 IMs are already confirmed, including 32 foreign federation players, making this a super swiss event for norms.

This will be the strongest swiss tournament in the U.S. this year - mark your calendars!

The first entries are in for the US Masters!

The 2023 USM features increased prizes, conditions, and minimum ratings - we expect this to be the strongest US Masters in history and be on the FIDE Circuit, part of the FIDE Candidates' Cycle. All GMs, IMs, and WGMs play for free.
