Spring is here, and Lake Townsend Yacht Club is kicking off the season with one of our favorite traditions—Opening Day with a Poker Run!

Saturday, April 4, 2026

Whether you’re racing, cruising, or just coming for the food and fun, there’s something for everyone:

⛵ Sailors:
• Boat prep starts at 9:00 AM
• Competitors’ meeting at 10:00 AM (Racing Shed)
• Races begin around noon

♠️ Poker Run Details:
Two exciting races around six buoys + a twist—collect cards to build your poker hand. Final cards are dealt at Shelter 10, and winners are crowned after the meal!

Not Sailing? No Problem:
Join us at Shelter 10 around 3:30 PM for great food, community, and post-race festivities.
