6 years ago yesterday, I started working part-time at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home… and it’s been one of the most meaningful journeys of my life.

What makes it even more special is getting to follow in my dad’s footsteps. Watching the way he served families, cared for people, and carried himself with respect left a lasting impression on me—and it’s something I’ve always tried to live up to.

Even though this is just a part-time role for me, it’s never felt “small.” Being there for families during some of their hardest moments is something I don’t take lightly.

Grateful for the relationships, the lessons, and the opportunity to serve. Here’s to 6 years—and to carrying on a legacy that means a lot to me. 🙏
