Look at that focus! 👀👊

Karate is just as much about using your head as it is your hands and feet!

Learning to think before acting and stay in control takes practice. And that’s exactly what our students are working on every time they step on the mat.

And they’re having fun doing it!

Hello October! 🍂

October is Bullying Prevention Month, so let’s spread a little extra kindness around BRAVE this month.

Say hi to someone new. Invite someone to join you. Give a compliment. Help someone out. Stand up for someone who needs it.

It doesn’t take much to make someone’s day a little better. ✨

Wait… they’re training with an OAR?! 👀🥋

Yep! Our Elite students just started learning the traditional oar, and they’re loving it.

Quick fact: The eku is a traditional Okinawan weapon adapted from a fisherman’s oar.

Getting to learn so many different martial arts weapons is a favorite part of our program. The oar is just the latest one they get to add to the list!

🎶 “Everything is awesome!” 🎶 …especially when your 4–6 year old is learning to listen, focus AND control that busy little body.

Little Ninjas is made just for this age. They get to move, kick and have fun, but they’re also learning how to follow directions, take turns, listen and have a little more control over all that energy.

Our Black Belt instructors know this age and know how to keep them learning while still having fun.

Have a little one who would love this? Come try a class and see what Little Ninjas is all about! 🥷🏻

We’re so proud of all of our students who tested on their summer curriculum! They worked hard, pushed through the tough moments and proved to themselves that they can do hard things.

As instructors, there’s something pretty special about seeing all that work come together on testing day. Watching our students step out there, give it everything they have and show how much they’ve grown is one of the best parts of what we do.

A huge thank you to Pitt Greensburg for having us for our color belt testing. Sending a big congratulations from all of us at BRAVE! We’re so proud of you all.

Keep showing up. Keep pushing. And when things get hard, never give up. 🥋❤️
