i have tried to post this so many times. couldn’t bring myself to do it.

every year another piece of my heart decides it’s grown up enough and it’s time to leave for the next adventure.

every year i protest this. 😩

but i also become so filled with pride and excitement to watch them step into the next chapter of their lives.

this one right here is really, REALLY special.

i fear ive never encountered someone so hardworking and determined. but also… so kind. (and funny 😂)

she’s been the best role model, friend, teammate and leader for years already.

i am certain she’ll continue to grow into these roles even more in her future.

no matter what direction she goes, there is no stopping this one. so everyone, look out. 👀

what a privilege it has been to teach you for all of these years.

im SO honored to have been able to witness you grow up into all that you are.

i am so proud of you it hurts.

now let’s make this year the best one you’ve ever had.

love you kid. 🖤
