Interesting to see how this evolves nationally.

UFC BJJ have officially announced UFC BJJ Opens. A new tournament series designed to competitors a pathway into the UFC.

This isn’t just being promoted as another local competition.

UFC are calling it “the first step for the next generation of champions” and say the series is built to help find future UFC talent.

The first events are already listed for Las Vegas on August 22, 2026 and Phoenix on September 12, 2026, with more locations expected to be announced.
