“It took two years since going to the ER for me to realize I needed to find someone to help me with my back pain.
I didn’t have expectations about improvement because I just got used to ibuprofen in the morning to make it through a regular day.
When I first started training, I had to be reminded that I have to keep going if I want to get rid of my pain. Part of me hated the first few sessions, but I kept telling myself that I have to keep doing it.
Of course there is the physical benefit, but also it’s the constant encouragement I get from a personal coach—I know walking into the gym that I have to be prepared to do anything.
This is the first month in eight years that I’ve woke up without pain in my back.
Im getting away from my old habits and eliminating bad ones. I don’t think about wanting to get into my old habits because I love the ENERGY, SLEEP, STAMINA AT WORK, and ABILITY TO MOVE that I have gained.
I am not physically tired at work anymore. If I get tired, it’s mentally.
I feel comfortable moving at work. My body feels much more mobile.
The only pain I feel is from getting my ass kicked in training. I look forward to every day now.” - Ricky
