It's GO time! And it's beautiful!
It’s GO TIME! Teams arrived at the Chicago Yacht Club for the final time this morning, chomping at the bit to take off for Mackinac Island.
Storms moved through the area overnight and left behind dramatic skies, wind, and lumpy seas for competitors in the Racing Division – adding to the excitement of the day. Sailors are kitting up, docking out, and headed for the race course.
The first start will be at 1100 CT - check out the complete starting sequence schedule online:

It is far more than the United States that our military serves and protects. This "thank you, America" currently stands in the middle of Plzen, Czech Republic. They thank you, and we thank you for serving or having served.

Heads up for tonight, folks! My favorite segment. 😊💕
Tune in tonight for the CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell (beginning at 6:30 PM) to catch one of Mackinac Island's most recent showcases of hospitality! This segment will feature Jake and Elizabeth Landuyt's wedding day and the community efforts made to move their reception from the evacuated Yacht Club down to Mission Point. You can expect Mackinac's feature to be the final story of the evening done by Steve Hartman as part of his "On the Road" series. And our team is so excited to watch the premier right along with you: https://www.cbsnews.com/evening-news/
