🚨 Senior Spotlight 🚨 : Colton Rust

Colton Rust, better known as “Rust,” was a pitcher and leader for our team. On the mound, he brought poise, grit, and a competitive edge every time he pitched. Off the field, he played just as important a role as the team’s secretary, working closely with the school and making countless behind the scenes sacrifices and decisions to keep the program running smoothly. Colton was the kind of teammate who did whatever was needed, even when no one was watching. His impact goes far beyond the score.

Thank you Colton for setting an example of what a player & teammate should be. For the players that you played with, and for those who shall follow. 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

🚨Senior Spotlight🚨: Hunter Zents

Hunter Zents, better known as “Mr. Zentz,” was a player who enjoyed the game of baseball as much as one possible could. Always showing up to the field with a smile on his face. He was a leader by example who always had positive words of motivation even when the team was doubtful. While making Sportscenter Top 10 catches in centerfield, he also batted an impressive career .415 average. In 2 years with the program Hunter also swiped 27 bags.

ECU Club Baseball thanks Hunter for his commitment and setting an example to the players who played with him and for those who will follow him. 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

🚨Senior Spotlight🚨 : Lee Parker

Lee Parker, better known as “The General” has been a leader of the team as our starting catcher. As a career .343 hitter, Lee was a wall behind the plate and was a commanding presence on the field. Not only was he a leader on the field, but also our club president. As club president, Lee made many decisions and sacrifices to make sure ECU Club Baseball was successful as a program.

We thank Lee for his dedication and commitment and setting an example for the players that will be following him. 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

The Pirates are heading to regionals at Fleming Stadium in Wilson. The road to Alton starts today!! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

The Pirates sweep Charlotte and that makes 15 wins in a row to close out the regular season. Next stop is Wilson for regionals.🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
