✨ NUTRITION TIP THURSDAY ✨
Eat enough to support exercise but not body fat.
What does that actually mean?
-Eat enough to fuel your workouts, recover, and have energy throughout the day.
-Avoid regularly overeating portions, snacking out of boredom, or consuming excess processed foods and drinks your body doesn’t need for energy
A big reason we emphasize mostly whole foods is because they are naturally:
✔ More filling
✔ Higher in nutrients
✔ Better for recovery and performance
✔ Easier to regulate portions and hunger
✔ Support healthy body composition
Highly processed foods are often easier to overeat and can leave you feeling hungry, sluggish, and low on energy even after eating a lot of calories.
The goal is balance:
•Fuel performance
•Recover well
•Support long-term health
Eat mostly whole foods and enough to support your training, not just to eat less.

CrossFit is bigger than six packs and PR’s.
Those things can definitely happen with a diet centered around Whole Foods and consistent training. But that’s not the main reason we do it.
It’s about fighting the things that actually matter:
Disease. Weakness. Decrepitude. Dependence.
The program is designed to build and maintain strength, capability, and freedom for a lifetime. With scalable movements and adjustable intensity, CrossFit meets you where you are and adapts to how you’re feeling that day.
We train because we want to have the ability to pick up our kids or grandchildren, keep doing the activities we love and stay independent for decades to come. Well into our 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
We’re choosing longevity.
We’re choosing community.
We’re choosing resilience.
This is about building a body and a life without limits. That’s why we do CrossFit.
