Still Wind Ministries is excited to introduce Marcus Jones as our new Executive Director. Marcus has been connected to SWM for many years, more recently serving as a board member. Certified in SYMBIS, Prepare/Enrich, and pastoral coaching/counseling, Marcus integrates Christian wisdom with evidence-based practices. He leads cohorts in Emotionally Healthy Discipleship, Discipology, and serves his parish and community.
Marcus founded RE:FORGED Pastoral Counseling & Consulting in 2025. He lives in Upstate South Carolina with his wife of 12 years and their four daughters. You can usually find him spending time with his family, at church, playing music, reading, or gaming!
We are excited to have Marcus onboard as we seek to impact our community.

Box Breathing is a grounding and relaxation technique you can use anytime, anywhere.
How it works (4–4–4–4):
• Inhale for 4 seconds
• Hold for 4 seconds
• Exhale for 4 seconds
• Hold for 4 seconds
🔁 Repeat 3 times (or more if needed)
This steady rhythm helps calm the nervous system, slow racing thoughts, and bring your body back into a sense of safety and presence.

Together, we’ll explore themes of embodied love, compassion, and companionship in our spiritual lives, drawing from The Love of Thousands by Christine Valters Painter. This book will serve as a gentle guide as we nurture the garden of our hearts and grow in spiritual and emotional maturity.
