It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our Rock Steady Boxing Greenville boxers, Daniel “Dan” Graham. 💔

Dan first walked through our doors on December 23, 2020, and quickly became part of our RSB family. Over the years, he completed 292 classes, showing up with determination, courage, and the steady spirit that defines what Rock Steady is all about. His last class with us was on October 26, 2023, but the mark he left on our RSB family has remained. 🥊

Dan had a big personality and truly loved Rock Steady Boxing. He was full of good humor, laughter, and jokes, and he brought so much positivity with him every time he came to class. You couldn’t help but laugh when Dan was around. 😂

Dan’s fighter name was “Old Crow,” but he also loved to call himself “Dan the Man, the Myth, the Legend”, which fit him perfectly! Also note it on one of his shirts in the video.

He loved our theme days and never missed a chance to dress up, take pictures, and have fun with everyone. He especially loved our Halloween parties. One year, Dan entertained us all by dressing as Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show. He looked so much like Barney Fife and spent the entire day in character, keeping everyone laughing. It was no surprise when he won our annual Halloween costume contest that year.🎃

Dan also loved telling stories, talking about his family, and getting to know the people around him. He made connections easily and brought joy into our gym in a way that was uniquely his.🫶

Every boxer who comes through our doors brings something special to our community, and Dan certainly did. He was part of the laughter, the friendships, the encouragement, the hard work, and the quiet bravery that fill this place every day.

We are grateful for the time we had with Dan and honored that Rock Steady Boxing Greenville was part of his journey. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who loved him.💗

Rest easy, Old Crow. You will always be remembered by your RSB family. 🥊
