We want to thank Principal Dave Bryant and everyone at the Epworth Christian School for the opportunity to prepare them for the new school year.

The staff attended a Surviving Active Violence & Emergencies (S.A.V.E.) class to learn how to keep themselves and the children safe in the event of an active shooter or other violent event.

They also became certified in Pediatric First Aid & CPR AED. They are equipped and have the knowledge to help save lives.

We had a great time, and we wish them a great school year!

🚑FIRST AID FRIDAY🚑

Our last segment in our mini series on epinephrine injectors. However, this one is not an injector, it is Neffy epinephrine nasal spray.

Neffy can be prescribed in both 2mg (66 lbs or greater) and 1mg (33 lbs to 66 lbs) doses. It comes with 2 doses of the spray and 1 trainer in every kit. It is given by placing the tip of the spray bottle into the nostril and push the white plunger in until it clicks.

Have a great and safe weekend!

Children heading back for the 2026-2027 school year! With that in mind, this week's posts are going to have a theme.

The first topic is Back to School safety. From children walking/riding bikes to school, to school zone awareness, everything is essential to make sure children arrive at school and makes it home safely.

Safety awareness starts at home. Be sure to review all your emergency contacts and procedures. Talk to your children about bullying and peer pressures. Finally, make sure the weight and fit of backpacks are comfortable for your child.
