Congrats to our amazing field site student, Julie Beck, on her graduation from the Addictions and Rehabilitation Program! She also received the Outstanding Master's Student Award!!

We're sure going to miss her around here!

Come join us April 18th from 10:00am-3:00pm for our annual Neigh Days Spring Fest fundraiser and explore our trails and meet our fur family. We will have spring themed auction baskets, baked goodies, coffee and fun all around. Admission is $12 per family and $2 for individuals. Cash and venmo accepted!

We have multiple options from baked goods to iced coffee and t-shirts available to support our equine family. We’d love to see you out and come have fun with us and all the activities we will have to educate about equine assisted therapy, and learn about the therapeutic potential that is outdoors.

Julie Beck, one of our master’s of science in clinical counseling students, is sponsoring a Fall Festival to support operations at Mane Source Counseling in Ayden, where she and other East Carolina University students are learning the skills of their future profession. Join Julie and her peers Oct. 18 from 10 am to 4 pm for a bake sale, crafts and interaction with the animals at the farm, including goats, rabbits, chickens and – of course – the horses. The farm is located at 2563 Doc Loftin Road in Ayden. Entry costs: $15 per family or $3 per person. ECU Department of Addictions & Rehabilitation Studies
