TIED TOGETHER THURSDAY 🤍
Meet Mya Donavon from Zeta Tau Alpha and Taylor Cerco from Phi Mu, two friends whose friendship began as neighbors in their freshman year dorm and has continued to grow through every chapter of college. Their story is such a special reminder that Panhellenic is about supporting one another, building lifelong friendships, and celebrating the connections that make our community so meaningful.
“We met freshman year as neighbors in Ballard West, and from day one Taylor became one of the people who made ECU feel like home. When recruitment came around, I was unsure if it was something I wanted to do, but Taylor encouraged me to put myself out there and give it a chance. Looking back, I’m so grateful she did because so many of my favorite college memories and friendships came from taking that leap. Even though we found our homes in different sororities, our friendship has always come first. We’ve spent the last few years showing up for each other, going to each other’s events, and introducing each other to the people who have become some of our closest friends. Being in different chapters has only expanded our experiences and given us even more people to share life with! One of the things I love most about Panhellenic is that it brought us opportunities, friendships, and memories we never would have had otherwise, while also strengthening a friendship that started in our freshman year dorm. What began as two freshmen figuring out college together has turned into a lifelong friendship, and we’re so grateful to have had each other on our side through it all!” - Mya Donavon & Taylor Cerco

TIED TOGETHER THURSDAY🤍
Meet Rachel Breen from Alpha Xi Delta and Kristen Stout from Delta Zeta, two friends who met during their freshman year and discovered that sisterhood extends far beyond chapter letters. Their story is such a special reminder that Panhellenic is about supporting one another, building lifelong friendships, and celebrating the connections that make our community so meaningful.
“We met freshman year while living on the same floor in Clement and became friends before recruitment even started. Going through recruitment together was such a fun experience, and even though we ended up in different sororities, it honestly made our friendship even stronger. Being in different chapters has introduced us to so many people we probably never would have met otherwise, and we’ve both made so many friends through each other along the way. It’s been so fun watching our friend groups come together and getting to experience Panhellenic from different perspectives. We’re so grateful for ECU Panhellenic because it helped us find our own homes while also creating friendships that go way beyond our chapters. Our friendship is proof that Panhellenic is so much bigger than just one sorority.” - Rachel Breen & Kristen Stout
