Bear Naked Hunting

And here I always thought, yard bird meant chicken!

One of our most favorite hunts of any season is taking out youth out on youth day hunts and making it a great time about the hunt. Watching thes boys become hunters is awesome

Bear Naked non-typical deer taken last night in Iowa. He’s a 14 pointer, it would have been more but his rack is busted on the left side. I’m so proud of Bo, he sat in 5 degree weather for this late season beast!!

Two bears down on the bear mountain! The over population of bears in this area is hard to fathom. We’re finally seeing the other wildlife number start to come back.

Now if this guy will just peep his head out during the day!! Fingers crossed!

Babies in the back yard this morning. I hope y’all had a happy 4th!

This weekend’s outing landed me in the woods, as normal. I caught a beautiful 9” native brook trout, saw the largest snail in a shell, took some beautiful pictures of the river, that view, and even the map was excited to be off where you don’t have to see other people!!
