The SC State Road Race is this Saturday. Headstrong team mates have been busy planning for this event. There has been much discussion around food for the day...... Priorities!

It's national bike month! Good thing we love to ride :)

National Bike Month 2013 - Greenville Rec Greenville Rec manages over 55 parks and facilities throughout Greenville County including 8 community centers, 6 historic sites, 3 waterparks, an ice rink, an inline rink, a camp and retreat center, and a 17.5 mile rail-trail greenway.

TEAM headstrong 2013 Camp begins February 7 in Tucson, AZ. 20 participants will increase base fitness with daily, focused rides. Sprint skills, pack riding and race tactics are on the agenda as well as good ol' fashioned bonding.

Team Headstrong are getting ready to head out to Tucson for team camp. We will be 20 people out there this year. Good times!!

Some Team Headstrong members rode the Greenville Spinner's Leaf Tour yesterday. 220 cyclists came out to ride on an absolutely gorgeous fall day! Thanks to the Greenville Spinners for treating riders to milkshakes in Marietta.

Some of the team attacked Sassafrass Mountain on Sunday. 4.5 miles with several 20%+ sections of pavement leading you to the highest point in SC! Have you ever conquered Sassafrass?

Sam Danner and Steve Baker went on the Your Carolina morning show with Jack and Kimberly to promote the Upstate Forever Preservation Ride September 22. Fun times! Hope you'll join us for the ride this year.

Thanks to Jim Cunningham for the Retul Bike Fit today. Astounding information - really cool software, and Jim really knows what he's talking about. Tomorrow will be a test run; probably longer than needed after some changes to the bike, but I'm looking forward to feeling the difference.

New billboards aim to humanize cyclists A new billboard campaign is posted throughout the Upstate, aimed to get drivers and cyclists to pay more attention to each other.

Team Headstrong girls scored three golds and a silver in the SC State Road Race yesterday. Congratulations to Emily and Camille for winning their age categories in the Master's race, and to Giselle for winning the Women's 123 race. She also raced in the Master's men 50+ and came in second. Since the racer who came first was from a different state, she is technically the fastest 50+ man in the state! Nice job Catherine, in the women's 123 race too. You made it look easy!
