Today, three of our team members had the opportunity to present the research they had been working on in the past month. David and Courtney presented work in Chemistry while Austin demonstrated his knowledge in Sustainability.



In addition to a great cycling community, Furman also offers students incredible academics and numerous opportunities in research. Come tour and ride with us!

Furman Cycling is looking forward to celebrating National Bike month this May! In an effort to promote the benefits that come from cycling for exercise and as a means of transportation, the League of American Bicyclists created national bike month to encourage more people to give biking a try.

Another great weekend for the team down in Georgia at the Georgia Tech race weekend! Saturday started with the road race and the team saw multiple top tens and a 1,5 for and in the Mens’s A road race. The success followed with a third place for in the Men’s C individual time trial that afternoon. Sunday had a rainy crit in store, and the team saw a third place finish for .bailey.13 in the Women’s B crit and a 2,4 finish for Brendan and Cooper in the Men’s A crit. A great weekend was had by all, and the team is ready to test the legs again in Johnson City in two weeks! @ Tucker, Georgia

We had some big results in the Road Race with and going 1,2 and in 13th. In the Women’s B we had .bailey.13 in 7th.

During Sunday’s criterium was in position to take the win solo with under 4 laps to go when he flatted. ended up 2nd in the field sprint with in 8th.

Next weekend we take the weekend off for TOSH then resume racing the following weekend !

Finishing cross nationals with three riders in the top ten of the men's individual race, it's time to look forward to road season! Huge thanks for all the support this cross season (especially with the inaugural running of the furman cyclocross classic); we look forward to trying to bring home the gold at road nationals this spring!

Results are up from last weekend's race! Huge thanks to everyone that came out, we can't wait to hold this event again next season!
