The effects of Creatine supplementation are still not entirely understood. Is it an effective compound? Yes, for a variety of physiological reasons, like cognitive health, in addition to adding lean body mass, as we are learning. This study indicates what I have known anecdotally for years, for an increase in lean body mass, the standard 5mg maintenance protocol probably isn't sufficient.
