Hit House Academy Greenville

First tournament for our 9U Hit House/Ghost team, and these boys battled all weekend and pulled it off — winning an absolute thriller 15-14 in the Championship! ⚾🔥

New team. Same expectations.

A few big-time performances:
🔥 Griffin “G-Man” DeSerio led the way in the championship, going 2-for-3 with 4 RBIs!

🔥 Hank Moore had a heck of a weekend on the mound, slinging the rock for 4 innings with 5 strikeouts and only 2 earned runs!

🔥 Griff DeSerio was on another level at the plate all weekend, hitting .800 with 4 doubles, 1 triple and 8 RBIs!
Awesome way to start things off for this group. These boys competed, kept fighting, and found a way to bring home the hardware!

DO NOT allow kids to "tough it out" during extreme heat conditions.

No amount of water or electrolytes will prevent heat stroke in this weather because heat related illness has nothing to do with hydration.

HEAT & HUMIDITY do not allow the body to sweat and cool down adequately the way biology intended.

If you're a coach/parent and you have someone behind the plate today then you better have a fan and cooling towels in the dugout.

Baseball isn't worth life altering heat illness. Don't be stupid.
