MLB ID TOUR Update!
Good Morning MLB ID TOUR PARTICIPANT –
I hope this email finds you well as you prepare for the MLB ID TOUR Saturday, April 18th at Duncan Park Stadium located at 1000 Duncan Park Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Check-in will begin at 9:00am, while dynamic stretch will take place at 9:30am sharp. We ask that you please be on time so that we can start on time. We understand you all have somewhere you need to be after, and so we will do our best to be efficient and ensure you are able to depart in a timely manner. Please dress in baseball attire as if you were attending a practice, and keep in mind that you will be evaluated at your PRIMARY POSITION that is on the registration. While we understand that you might play multiple positions at this age, should our staff of evaluators observe anything further, we will be sure to communicate to you. This identification event is an opportunity for us to identify players and consider them for Baseball Development Programming with MLBDevelops.
Players will be evaluated on the following:
Running
Throwing
Fielding
Catching
Pitching
Hitting
We ask that participants please bring the following:
Batting Helmet
Wood Bat
Fielding Glove
Metal Cleats
All Catchers Must Bring their Catchers Gear/Catchers Glove
A jug of water to stay hydrated as much as possible. Please remember that hydration starts the night before you partake in physical activity, and not the day of.
Let’s be locked in, ready to go, and bring the energy Saturday Morning.
