The last few months have been a growing & learning season…

all months are like that, really, BUT sometimes some seasons hold more opportunities to grow

bc that’s what it is, all of that hard stuff… the stuff we think was meant to break us, it’s actually just an opportunity to grow

when you’re facing so much opposition, when everywhere you turn there seems to be another hit or another BIG mountain you have to climb, you’re being prepared

& the more we resist taking the first step to climb, the more anxiety we feel

some of that anxiousness is bc we are stepping into uncomfortable, new territory

& some of it is bc we just don’t want to let go of the way things are bc we are simply afraid

Ask yourself - What do I need?

& whatever the answer is, just do it.

For me it has been time, space, low expectations, & simplicity. Grace to allow myself an opportunity to slow down and listen instead of continuing to grind.

Resting, not quitting.

I know you’re tired & if you’re reading this and you FEEL me, it’s time for you to get real with yourself too ❤️

I believe in you.

I’m not everyone’s cup of tea…⁠
& I used to try really, REALLY hard to be. ⁠

Like it used to KILL me when someone didn’t like me.

I can be a little TOO much for people…

A little TOO honest.⁠
A little TOO passionate.⁠
A little TOO intimidating. ⁠
A little TOO committed. ⁠
(or at least that’s what I hear) 😉⁠

But now? I’ve learned that the BEST part of being me is that nobody can tell me that I’m doing it wrong. 😎


For the women who have been told you’re “too _____” …

KEEP SHINING ✨

If you feel good about you, if you work on you, & if you believe your heart is good, bless and release those who don’t see your value. ❤️

Convinced that taste + smell are one of the simplest gifts we take for granted 😅

I had all kinds of messages about tips/tricks people saw other people sharing and before I tried them, I did a lil research 😎

My experience - I didn’t lose my taste & smell until mid-sickness. It started as not being able to taste or smell anything… like it was just blank ( )

&&& THEN it turned into the metallic taste and smell. Completely awful, wouldn’t go away, and made me so paranoid that *I* smelt like that 😂

Here’s what I found from researching & what I tried (completely not sure if it actually helped OR if my body would’ve gotten back to “normal” in the same time frame without doing these things BUT it couldn’t hurt 🤷‍♀️) it’s STILL not 100% back but I can smell my essential oils again PTL & can taste about 90% of my food so I’m celebrating and taking it as a sign in the right direction 🎉

1. Stopped using a metal cup/straw & switched to plastic (lots of questions about the one I’m using bc it’s so cute thanks to my BFF - DM me and I’ll send you the link!) 😍

2. Tongue scraping (I do this normally but while I was sick, I hardly did it. I’ve been doing it 2X if not more daily 😅)

3. Using mouth wash (again, not 100% sure saying it’s the magic answer BUT it’s a natural mouthwash with no fluoride 🙌 & upleveling your dental game never hurt anyone) if you want the direct link, DM me 😘

SO many of yall who have been sick have also lost your taste & smell. I got lots of DMs making me super grateful that I’m not in this boat 6+ months later like some of the stories I’ve heard & if that’s you, man my heart goes out to you.

I remember the day I realized that by being a coach, I could actually help other women change their life.

& by helping those women, other people - their families, friends, neighbors, people in their lives - could be impacted, too.

I realized this opportunity as a coach was a way to turn my personal health + fitness journey into a way to serve others.

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you watched me get up early every morning before teaching to work on myself & my business.

You watched me through the highs & lows in my business and personal life.

You watched me leave teaching and coach full time.

You watched me have the flexibility because of coaching to be able to fulfill a personal joy by homeschooling a previous student and still run my coaching business.

You’ve been part of my community & in some way, you’ve been impacted.

It’s easy to sit, watch & see others doing things that we disqualify ourselves from even though deep down a small part of us wants a piece of it.

What if instead you..

Let it be proof that you can have it.

Let it be proof that you can do it.

Let it be proof that you are in control, you do have a choice & allow yourself the opportunity to bravely step out, release the judgement of others, and see what’s possible for you.
