Hey everyone -
I have some important updates I have to share with you all.
To cut to the chase, this is one of the more difficult decisions I have had to make in recent memory and it guts me to have to do. However, a lot has been going on behind the scenes in my personal life. This has come at a heavy price with my overall health and well-being being affected, which I have over the last few months taken steps to start addressing. The work is not done though. I judiciously have made the decision to pause all things related to One Tree so I can focus strictly on myself and family alike for the foreseeable future.
Over the last several years, I have been immensely blessed to share the duck blind, goose fields, and turkey woods with countless people from all over the country, something I never imagined then would grow into what you all have helped support. I have lost count of the number of amazing memories filed away in my memory bank, the relentless ball busting shared, and celebratory fist bumps every season. Looking back at photos and videos reliving many of these hunts has helped me a ton to keep my chin up, all the while taking this difficult decision on the that same chin.
I want to acknowledge I have not made myself as available as I historically am to many of you who have contacted me. This has been a byproduct of things going on, which I genuinely apologize for. Going forward, I am asking everyone for your patience and understanding, and please do not take it to heart not hearing from me while I navigate these waters. My health and privacy have selfishly become my number one priority for the time being until I can fully flesh out what’s next.
Again, I want to thank you all for your support the last several years and continued support throughout this next part of my timeline I’m on. Boone and I hope to see many of you again as soon as we can.
