We are having to push our closing up a week. 8/19 will be the last day our doors are open. The pitching lane is closed.

This was just sent out as an email, but wanted to post it here too.

Hi all,
It is with deep regret that I am having to send you this email.
August 26th, 2022 will be our last day in business. If you are a member, your member fees will be prorated for the month of August. This is unfortunately not an automatic process, so I will ensure you are returned unusable fees due to the closure by 9/15/22.
We started this process nearly one year ago and began opening our doors to members in September of 2021. I committed myself to learning the most I could about advanced baseball training, partnering with local experts like Sheldon Reed, and just creating an atmosphere that was welcoming to all, a safe place to have fun, get better, and have a place where you could have inexpensive access. This was not enough, we operated at a net negative every month we were open.
I do not expect this to be the end of trying to bring world class baseball and softball training to Greenwood. I have already spoken with Sheldon about some future plans, but these are not ready at this moment.
On August 27th, we will be tearing everything down and making space for the new tenant of 234 Birchtree Dr. Most of what we have in the store is available for purchase at a considerable discount. In an effort to pay some of our creditors, we have already parted ways with both of our Rapsodo units. The fitness equipment, netting, and pitching machine are available for purchase if anyone is interested, reach out to me directly.
For the parents who committed from the very beginning or shortly after, thank you for the hours you trusted myself, Sheldon, Cody, Drew, Mackenzie, Lauralee, and others to work with your athlete. I learned a lot about baseball and myself over the last year. The past few days have been extremely difficult as I was faced with the inevitable reality that what I put together was not going to succeed, but just like baseball, I have learned from the failures. I might have swung and missed this time, but so what, next pitch.
I am still around, I still love baseball training, and I look forward to what the future may hold.
