One last tune-up this weekend before the games officially begin. Come out to Ware Shoals High School this Saturday for a full day of football and support our teams as they get ready to kick off the season!

Meet Brandon Cloer, our new Ware Shoals Recreation Supervisor.

Brandon is a Clemson native and Clemson University graduate. He joins us from the City of Clemson, where he served as Facility Coordinator for the Central-Clemson Recreation Center.

Recreation has been a part of Brandon’s life from an early age. His father was the Parks and Recreation Director for the Town of Central. Brandon is excited to bring his experience to Ware Shoals.

He’s especially looking forward to meeting the community and continuing the great work built by former Recreation Supervisor Russell Patterson. Brandon says Ware Shoals reminds him of Central, where he grew up playing youth sports. Both towns share strong community ties and a love for athletics.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with family, hunting, trout fishing, Clemson football and basketball, and the occasional NASCAR race. He’s also visited 26 states, many while road-tripping to follow the Tigers.

Join us in welcoming Brandon to Greenwood County.
