What a year for GCS Athletics!

Congratulations to our very own Johnathan Robertson!

Johnathan was a varsity baseball player and football DJ for GCS and we are so proud!

Please join us in congratulating Jonathan Robertson of Greenwood Christian School on being awarded the SCAC Board of Directors Scholarship for McCormick County! 🎉

Jonathan is one of just 13 graduating seniors across South Carolina selected to receive this prestigious $5,000 scholarship—an incredible accomplishment!

A true sports enthusiast, Jonathan has contributed to his school as the varsity football videographer and sports statistician for the yearbook. He has also demonstrated leadership and service as treasurer of the Interact Club, a member of the National Honor Society and a participant in Palmetto Boys State.

Jonathan will attend Lander University, where he plans to pursue a degree in business administration with a concentration in sports management.

Congratulations, Jonathan! We are proud of your hard work and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! 👏✨

During his Junior campaign, Leland Reed broke the GCS record for most hits, RBI, and runs scored in a career! He also broke the record for most hits in a single season!

On top of that, he also earned Region Player of the Year!
