The fantastic Sonny’s Grill and Sonny's Grill Food Truck were keeping the crowds fed with BBQ plates, loaded (and I mean loaded) fries, chicken, Mac and cheese, and more. Loved their sauces and sides, and people couldn’t get enough of their Brussels 😋

The grand opening event consisted of people touring the facility, checking out the two vendors in attendance, PT Solutions Physical Therapy, who just opened a new location in Greer, and The Nutrition Store LLC, a local shop for all your vitamin, meal prep, and protein needs! People could also participate in a weightlifting competition for both men and women, which was really exciting to watch.

I got to photograph the whole thing, which was exciting for me, as typically my subjects don’t move (the food doesn’t tend to fight back 😂).

Definitely check out Megan‘s gym if you are interested in weightlifting or personal training! I’ve been working with her for about a year now and I can tell you that I’ve been seeing a lot of improvements from a health and fitness perspective. While I don’t think I’ll be picking up a weightlifting bar anytime soon, I definitely love the fact that I can still support her and the gym in more ways than one. 💜

It's been a while, so let us remind you of who we are...

What began in 2020 as a personal training studio has now evolved into a full-fledged Coaching Service. We own and operate Palmetto State Barbell, we have a coaching staff, and are now proudly sponsoring powerlifting meets throughout the Carolinas and Georgia.

We have changed as a company.... both in size and purpose. But with change comes new ventures and challenges, larger and more inclusive communities, and more empowered athletes.

We've had lots of questions regarding Just Peachy Fitness and Palmetto State Barbell, so let's clear up some confusion:

•Just Peachy Fitness is our original business. It's a female-focused personal training & coaching service. We WERE located in Easley as a personal training studio.

•Just Peachy Fitness has grown and expanded and now we OWN @palmettostatebarbell . Palmetto incorporates our passion for strength training and our desire to create an inclusive space into one. We created a new name so that it felt more inclusive for all genders and we more than tripled our space and equipment so that we could reach more people.

•Just Peachy Fitness owns and operates Palmetto State Barbell, as well as runs all coaching and training services within Palmetto.

Palmetto is a new name, but Peachy isn't going anywhere. We've got exciting plans ahead for Just Peachy and the women of Greer/Greenville. We're excited to continue to grow and expand in Greer. We're just beginning!

📣Big News for Just Peachy Fitness!📣

We're so excited to announce that we are moving to a new location in Greer off of Wade Hampton Boulevard where we'll be opening up @palmettostatebarbell !

We were so fortunate to be able to open and run our Easley location, and we're grateful to all of our clients and members that followed us there, but now we move upwards and onwards to bigger and better opportunities in Greer, SC.

Our Easley studio will close at the end of May and our Greer gym will open in mid June. We couldn't be more excited about this opportunity. Give our new gym page a follow and share our posts to spread the word!

We're seeking volunteers for our OnDemand Workout videos!

We'd love to have at least one person per video in addition to our coaches to be able to demonstrate alternate movements. These classes will range from 30 minutes to an hour, and we have cardio, strength, and core options.

If you're interested, head to the link in our bio for details on the classes, dates, and times we need volunteers for. You can choose a class combo or a single class. You can also choose multiple classes if that's your thing!

Think of these sessions as an orientation to fitness: we'll go over movement mechanics within core, push, pull, squat, and hinge as well as discuss and program cardiorespiratory training. Together, we'll create a routine and program that you can follow either using your at-home equipment, your gym, or our studio. We'll also set up your nutrition basics like calories & macros, as well as teach you how to change your nutrition periodically. Our Intro Sessions range from 60-90 minutes each.

These sessions, while they're meant to be about your goals, focus on education and setting you up for success to train on your own. We love having clients, but we know that not everyone has the finances to stick with a trainer long-term. With our Intro sessions, you have the opportunity to ask all your questions, gain access to tons of resources, and feel safe and secure knowing that you've been guided through how to workout effectively and safely.

Must have a Nationally Accredited and active C-PT and active CPR/AED. 10+ hours a week, starting at $25/hour. You will be partially responsible for generating leads/clients in addition to clients on our waiting list.

We're looking for trainers that promote body positivity, transparent communication, and teaching clients to have healthy relationships with fitness and nutrition. We have a studio space dedicated to ensuring that our clients feel safe, heard, and paid attention to. We help people get stronger and empower their bodies.
