I’m sure a lot of people won’t agree with my viewpoint but teach them all aspects of horse care! Let them learn how to fail. Let them learn how to face the ups and downs. Let them learn that you can work so hard and still come up short. Horses teach life lessons. Horses make kids strong in many ways.

We spend so much time celebrating the wins that we forget what came before them.
The missed cues.
The wrong lead.
The tears in the parking lot.
The classes that didn’t go as planned.
The moments that make you question whether you belong.
But those moments aren’t proof you can’t do it.
They’re proof you had the courage to try.
I’ve watched riders climb back on after disappointing rides, parents encourage kids through tears, and horses teach lessons no blue ribbon ever could.
So if today didn’t go your way, don’t quit.
Learn.
Adjust.
Take a deep breath.
Then show up again tomorrow.
Because the people we admire most aren’t the ones who never failed…
They’re the ones who refused to let failure have the final word.
