Our first ultrasound for baby #3! 🤍
This appointment was such a special milestone, and seeing our little one for the first time made everything feel so much more real.
At the same time, we’re in a really full season of life as we prepare for our son’s upcoming heart surgery while growing our family. It’s a mix of excitement, gratitude, and a lot of emotions, and I want to share this journey honestly.
Thanks for following along as we navigate pregnancy, motherhood, life as a medical family, and all the moments in between. I’m so glad you’re here. 💛

24 hours. That’s all it took.
One day we were at a cardiology appointment making plans for Stephen’s upcoming surgery. The next, we were in the ER after a scary turn.
This season has reminded me how quickly life can change when your child has a complex heart condition. It has also reminded me that being present with my family will always come before posting online.
Thank you to everyone who’s been praying for Stephen and checking in on us. Your kindness means more than you know. ❤️
We’re taking it one day at a time, and we’ll keep sharing this journey as we’re able.
The RV isn’t about running away from life. It’s about creating stability while we build the life we’re working toward. 🤍
Between medical appointments, future hospital stays, family travel, and our dream of one day owning land and raising cattle, we’re learning that sometimes living smaller can open the door to bigger dreams.
We’re still in the planning stage, but it’s exciting to imagine what this next chapter could look like. 🌿🚐
What’s one dream you’re working toward right now?
Just a little peek into what our week looks like right now. Between therapies, appointments, church, friendships, and making memories with our boys, our calendar stays pretty full. 🤍
Some days feel chaotic, some days feel slow, but I’m learning to be thankful for the ordinary rhythms that make up this season.
What’s one thing on your calendar this week that you’re looking forward to?
Blue-collar life looks a little different around here.
Both Drayton and I run our own businesses, which means our family rhythm doesn’t always fit the traditional Monday through Friday schedule. Some days he’s on a job site, some days he’s in the office, and I’m balancing motherhood, homemaking, and building my own business in the margins.
We’ve worked hard to find a rhythm that allows us both to do what we love, and we’re incredibly grateful for it.
But if I’m being real, Saturday job-site days can still feel a little long sometimes. The boys miss their dad, I miss my husband, and the weekend doesn’t always look the way we imagined it would.
Still, there’s something beautiful about building a life together, even when it requires sacrifice. We’re learning to find joy in the ordinary, trust God’s provision, and make the most of the time we do have together. 🤍
A little reintroduction because life looks a lot different than I ever imagined it would. 🤍 Follow along for motherhood, faith, medical mom life, homemaking, and our journey toward RV living.
Lately, I’ve been learning that stewardship isn’t about having more.
It’s not about having more time, more money, a bigger house, or a perfectly organized life.
It’s about being faithful with what God has already placed in front of me.
The laundry pile. The dishes in the sink. The little hands asking for snacks. The appointments on the calendar. The blessings hidden in ordinary days.
I’m learning that a well-stewarded life doesn’t always look impressive. Sometimes it looks like showing up, serving your family, and doing the next thing with gratitude.
And honestly? That’s enough for today. 🤍
