The goal is simple…
Be better than yesterday. 🕊️

This was me — newly postpartum, covered in spit up, running on no sleep, and silently fighting a darkness I didn’t know how to name.
Postpartum depression nearly took my life after my first baby. I smiled through it, served through it, but inside I was breaking.

If that’s you — if you’re in that fog right now — please don’t walk through it alone.
You don’t need to “bounce back.” You need to breathe again.
You need someone who gets it.

Working out didn’t save me… but it helped me start to choose life again.
One walk. One prayer. One rep. One moment at a time.

7 months postpartum 🪴
I’ll be the first to admit… I roll out of bed and my kids grab every bit of extra skin they can find. And yes, I haven’t been as consistent as I’d like to be. But I’ve realized something—our kids are watching us.

They see what we eat. They see how we move. They see how we speak about our own bodies. And one day, those little eyes and ears will carry those lessons into their own lives.

The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit—we were bought with a price, so we’re called to honor God in how we care for them. That doesn’t mean chasing perfection. It means fueling our bodies with what gives life, moving them in ways that make us strong, and showing our children what it looks like to rise up and live well.

Our kids only get one mom. And I want mine to remember a mom who took care of herself—not out of vanity, but out of love. Love for God, love for them, and love for the gift of life He gave me.

So here’s to nourishing our bodies, moving with intention, and choosing daily habits that point our little ones toward strength, joy, and wholeness. Because they’re watching—and I want to give them a legacy worth following.
