Corn hole with a view? Yes, please!!

The latest improvements at our Gresham Water Park included re-grading the grassy berm to create a more usable gather space! That lovely level area on top means that you and your family and friends can enjoy a game of corn hole while at the water park!

Just ask our friendly water park staff for the loan of the boards and bags!

Who says the kids get to have all the fun?? ADULT ONLY NIGHT STARTS AT 8:30 TONIGHT!! Food and beverages (yes, even the adult kind) available. Water Park is ready for the 21+ crowd! FREE to members!

Great music, water slide open, air hockey in the hot tub, corn hole, ax throwing, floating chicken fights, and water volleyball!!

🎉 Help us celebrate a true Cascade Athletic Club legend!

Join us in wishing Charter Member Dick Vavrek a very happy 96th birthday 🎂 and celebrating his amazing 49 years as a Cascade Athletic Club member! ❤️

Dick is our oldest and longest-standing member, and for decades he’s been a familiar, friendly face on the tennis courts 🎾—still enjoying matches and catching up with friends over bridge. Dick was an avid racquetball player prior to playing tennis! He’s a wonderful example of lifelong fitness and community in action.

His commitment to health spans three generations of the Vavrek family. His son Gordon Vavrek and daughter-in-law Pam were longtime members, with Pam teaching group fitness and taking hundreds of classes. Gordon still joins pickleball when he’s in town.

Many of you will also remember his granddaughter, Heather Erlandson, a beloved CAC team member who even met her husband Brandon here at the club. ❤️

Dick, thank you for nearly five decades of friendship, inspiration, and being such an important part of the Cascade family.

🏆 Congratulations to our Cascade Athletic Club junior racquetball athletes, Samantha Dove and Maverick Bredeson, on a great performance at the Junior National Championships in Iowa!

Competing against the best junior athletes in the country, both Samantha and Maverick earned medals in all three of their divisions!

Racquetball has a long tradition of success at Cascade, and our junior program is a great way for kids of all ages and skill levels to stay active, build confidence, and have fun!

Our most asked Water Park question is “How do I know what amenities are open?”

I’m so glad you asked!!

Each day at our Gresham location we determine if it’s a Red Flag day or a Green Flag day.

Green Flag = West Gate entrance is OPEN & our Water Park is staffed including the Snack Shack!

Red Flag = Enter through the main club & Water Park is not staffed, snack shack is closed!

How do you know which day it is? By 10am we hang a flag on the Cascade sign AND it’s posted in the Cascade App along with the Water Park hours for that day!
