Learning new things as I go. 🤍
I will NEVER claim to be the best artist, because I’m definitely not 😂 — but I will say, we really are our own worst critics.
I strive for perfection, or at least as close to it as I can get. Every order teaches me something, challenges me, and helps me get a little better.
This particular order came to me with less than 20 hours’ notice. That’s OK I Am GRATEFUL for there order you have NO idea how grateful. They didn’t give me a ton of direction—just the colors and that they wanted either a “20” or initials.
Challenge accepted. 🙌
While I’m definitely not new to baking or making treats, some of the decorating and techniques I’m taking on are newer to me. And that’s okay. The only way I’m going to grow is to keep trying, keep learning, and keep pushing myself outside of what I already know.
But more than anything, I am just so incredibly grateful.
Every time someone trusts me to make treats for their birthday, celebration, event, or special moment, it means more to me than they probably realize. You’re giving me the opportunity to keep learning while doing something I genuinely LOVE.
I have never felt more at peace than I do when I’m creating. There’s something about putting everything else aside and just focusing on making something special for someone that makes my heart happy.
So thank you. 🤍 Thank you for the orders, the trust, the challenges, the encouragement, and every opportunity to get better.
I’m still learning. I’m still growing. And I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me. 🥹
