Boy have we been busy! The RedStorm took on Panama City Beach last week. This week is back to reality- sort of! We’re in the Banana Fest tournament in Galloway, so we’re going to have fun!!

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U Beat Next Level Blue 13U

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U were triumphant over Next Level Blue 13U 7-4 on Saturday at Lou Berliner Sports Park.

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Carter P doubled, and Matt C singled, each scoring one run.

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U added one run in the second after Austin P singled.

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U added one run in the third after Matt hit a sacrifice fly.

TJ M singled, which helped Next Level Blue 13U tie the game at four in the bottom of the fifth.

In the top of the seventh inning, RedStorm Baseball Club 13U went back into the lead after Chase E singled, Nick K doubled, and Carter walked, each scoring one run.

Layton H led things off on the bump for RedStorm Baseball Club 13U. They allowed zero hits and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking none. TJ stepped on the hill first for Next Level Blue 13U. They surrendered four hits and three runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking one. Sam S pitched two innings of zero-run ball for RedStorm Baseball Club 13U in relief. The reliever surrendered two hits, striking out one and walking one.

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U piled up 10 hits in the game. Bryson M and Josh S each collected two hits for RedStorm Baseball Club 13U. Matt and Carter were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for RedStorm Baseball Club 13U. Josh and Nick each stole multiple bases for RedStorm Baseball Club 13U. RedStorm Baseball Club 13U stole seven bases in the game.

TJ, Hunter M, and Ian H each drove in one run for Next Level Blue 13U. Jacob K stole two bases.

RedStorm Baseball Club 13U will travel to USSSA State Championsip for their next game on Sunday.
