Wowwy. Here i am finally. I know you're all DYING to know how 2025s goal of 1000 miles went. Wellp. I'm here to tell you... it was a success! All things considered, I was able to get it done. I had some friends along side me in the challenge, and i am SO grateful for those. But to prove it, check out my app! 370 hours. 1014 miles. 162k calories! Go me. Now. What's next?

I know I haven't updated you guys about my miles, or I guess life in general. It's been busy. That's all I can say. Between the kids, work, remodeling that doesn't seem to end, and as some of you know, a 3rd Pilkington on the way, I'm... tired. But, with the end of the year looming, I'm still keeping my eyes on my mileage goal. So, as of today, Nov 17th 2025 i have between 951.4 miles and 953. SO CLOSE. Less than 50 miles to go. #2025

QIGONG FOR MORNING STIFFNESS 08/21/2025

After 370 burpees over the course of 2 days(250 one day, 120 the next) lifting, running, more burpees, laundry, holding crying toddlers, making breakfasts that get thrown on the floor, packing lunches, creating dinners just to have them cried over and thrown on the floor too... I'm a little tied up. Collar bone is sore, hips ache, that SI pain that won't go away, some QiYoga felt SO good this morning. I recommend trying this out and mixing up your yoga routine. This woman is so good. I've followed a couple of her videos and I've vent so renewed after each one. Give it a try!

Another 10k trail run! I even placed in my age group! I've never done that before. It was a fun event, nothing grand or a large spectacle, but you can tell it was fun based on the vibe of the crowd. Great snacks at the end too! I hope to do one of Ohio River runners races again soon!

I have to remind myself to log my miles on my excel sheet. Which reminds me to let all of you know how I'm doing. Which keeps me accountable. Still remodeling the house. Still being a mom of 2. Still trying hard every day.
Ok! So anyway...

Biking a lot more lately side i got a little computer thing for it, so now I can get a real idea of miles there. Still trying to run, but I feel awful dragging to boys out in this heat for 45 minutes. Phew! Hot.
So, so far on the bike, since getting the computer, almost 100 miles. Almost. I still think I need to play catch up since moving and remodeling. But. I have a goal to hit. I need to get it done!!

Ok ok. I dropped t he ball again. But here I am! With my total miles for 🔴July, and in turn, total miles to date. Ready!? Drumroll.....
July = 142! (I really played catch up after the lost job, the move, the remodel that is still in progress....)
🔴Year to date = 649.50!
As you can see from my Excel sheet, There are a few months where I am behind. They are in red.
How , you ask? Waking up early. Riding the bike. Running. Lots of walks with the kids. Burpees! I swam some too. You just gotta keep your eyes on your goal and even the tiny steps are still steps towards it. Don't give up!

I know you're all DYING to know where i am mileage wise. Well, I plugged it in to my excel sheet (I've taken a few classes. I know i know) well... I thought I was really far behind. The move, the lack of equipment, sleepless nights, tired days, blah blah. Anyway. I'm at... 613 miles for the year. So, I am on track. I was really worried that I was behind. So I overdid it. When in doubt... right?

So, here i am! Miles. Getting done. Ka. Boom. Stay tuned for further updates! I miss you all!

Ding d**g! Wowwy coach where have you been? Weeelllll..... we moved. And we're remodeling our kitchen. I have 2 toddlers. And I also have ADD. So I forget. We all have those bumps. (But my grandmother also died and it's been harder than expected) But here I am, sitting on our bike in the garage while the kids watch Stinky and Dirty, working on getting back on track with my miles. Its been a busy 2 months. Getting back into a routine is happening finally. The garage isn't full of cabinets or counters or boxes and boxes of donations. So I have a little more room to move and breath. Stay tuned for my mileage up to date! How many miles are you in so far this year? Again, running, walking, biking, swimming, rowing, skiing and burpees all count. (.88miles is 1km. 120 burpees = 1mile) What speed bumps are you overcoming amd getting passed?

Waking up on this Wednesday, having completed my final exams yesterday, feeling weird for sleeping in? Did a little yoga, gonna do some me-time till my knuckleheads wake up. But, still not 100% any my next steps.

I know I've been MIA for a while. And a lot has happened in that while. As I try to gather my self and get things back on track, I'll be posting my mileage and workouts again. And I'll fill you all in on the events. Don't think the worst! Stress mostly. Hang in with me!

Ok! The math is in and done. My February mileage total is 92.89 miles. However, my watch total tells me 96. So! 🤷‍♀️ my goal for January and February combined are either 198.63 or 204. Either way, I'm ahead of schedule. Not mad about it! And I know it's easier said than done must days, you guys stick to your goals. Not just for yourself, but for your future self. The time will pass anyway, so might as well use some of that time to work towards your goals. Step by step. Mile by mile. Hang in there BCT herd.
