Often called the Venice, Italy of Ohio by two guys who work here and absolutely no one else, Trapper John’s is the perfect little escape just 20 minutes outside of Columbus. 🚙☀️

We’re serving espresso and putting out boats all weekend long starting at 8:30am!☕️🛶

No airfare involved, no passport required and our gondolas are red Old Town canoes. Close enough.

The Altogether Adventure® award celebrates experiences that bring our community together while creating something unique and memorable for visitors. To say we’re honored is an understatement.

When we took on Trapper John’s, our goal was never just to rent canoes and kayaks. We are honored to carry on the legacy and preserve a piece of Grove City history, get more people outside, introduce new families to Big Darby Creek, and create a place our community could make memories and be proud of.

And the fact that you all voted for us makes this one extra special. ❤️

This Monday, August 10th, we’ll be CLOSING EARLY so our crew can trade in a day of launching boats for a little time relaxing on the creek!

We’ll be OPEN at 9:00 AM, with adjusted last departure times:

🛶 Lower Trip: Last boats out at 11:30 AM
🛶 Sampler Trip: Last boats out at 1:00 PM
Everyone off the water by 3:30pm

We’re incredibly thankful for the crew that keeps Trapper John’s running all summer long, and we’re excited to spend time celebrating them! ☀️

Monday–Thursday
⏰ 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

If you love coffee and enjoy creating a great customer experience, we’d love to hear from you!

✨ Barista experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
