Today, we're proud to celebrate Lifeguard Appreciation Day! 🛟❤️

Our lifeguards do so much more than watch the water. Every day, they inspect the facility, test water quality, prepare the pools for safe operation, remain constantly alert, enforce safety rules, assist swimmers of all ages, provide first aid, and are ready to respond to emergencies at a moment's notice. Their dedication helps ensure every family can enjoy a safe, fun day at the Groveport Aquatic Center and Rec Center.

Many of our lifeguards are high school and college students who spend long hours in the summer heat with one goal in mind—keeping our members and community safe. Their professionalism, focus, teamwork, and commitment often go unnoticed because the best days are the ones where nothing happens. That's a testament to the incredible job they do.

To every member of our lifeguard team: Thank you. Your hard work, compassion, and commitment to safety make a difference every single day, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
