Here's the thing about taking class with me -- I don't do all that "bellydance for fun & fitness" stuff. I treat you like a real dancer from the first moment you walk in the door, and you get to decide how to respond to that.

Is it fun? Absolutely. It's the most fu***ng fun you'll ever have. Is it good for your body and mind? Absolutely, and study after study proves it. But it's also so much more than that, and so are you.

I just posted a new 45-minute hatha yoga practice on my Patreon, focused entirely on the feet.

In this slow-moving, mindful practice, you'll spend the first 13 minutes bringing awareness to the feet through mountain pose, lunges, and standing forward bend. The next section offers table, cat/cow, down dog, and plank, keeping your attention on foot transitions, with a few little breaks for foot massage. From there, you'll return to standing for some foot-focused balance poses, and conclude with a few hip openers and supine poses.

Some people believe politics has no place in dance, but we disagree. To that end, we've created an hour-long set of revolutionary bangers to welcome you to the Anarchist Cafe, presented by La Belle Musette and . There's a great big bellydance show in Columbus this weekend!

For the first set, Athena Howe gathered seven choreographers to create one epic performance to the classic Oum Kalsoum song "Essal Rohak."

Sacred Shimmy is performing in the second set, where we'll unveil the most dynamic sword choregraphy we've created so far.
