FINALLY made it offshore yesterday! Hadn’t been out in almost a year but it’s safe to say we haven’t forgotten how to fish! Didn’t leave the pass until after 7:30am. Got our six man limit of ARS, some Red Grouper, a few Gags and some Mango for the dinner table. It was a hot one but a great day with family and friends on the Yamaha powered Yellowfin!

This company was just started in 2021 by a young entrepreneur, Dylan Akin. Dylan is only 14 years old and was born and raised in Pinellas County. Had a great day Saturday fishing Old Salts Fall King of the Beach. Finished 25th overall out of 488 teams with a 27.10 # fish and brought home a first place trophy in the Ladies Division with a 26.63 # fish. Sporty conditions made it tough for some teams to get offshore but we took our time getting out there and it paid off. It had been a while since we finished on the board in this prestigious event so it’s nice to be back up there. Congratulations to Capt. Jim Naset and Pro Marine Fishing Team on taking home the win. Looking forward to finishing out the season with the Dogfish 25 tournament in two weeks.

BOLO for STOLEN BOAT!!!!! Our boat was stolen last night from Gore Marine in Wilmington. The thiefs cut a section of fence out and stole a bunch of lower units as well as stripped down several other boats. Please be on the lookout on any highways!!

After a late start on Sunday, we were still able to get on the elusive American Red Snapper and even snagged a few grouper while we were out there. It was a great day spent with our guys on Father’s Day! We know what we’re eating for dinner tonight. What’s on your table?! @ Gulf Of Mexico

Tournament week has arrived! This weekend we’ll be competing in the Suncoast Kingfish Classic. Last year we took the top prize of $20+k for first place with a 54.24 # king mackerel. We’re on the hunt to defend the title of Spring Champions. There’s a lot of tough competition and the bite has been on fire so it should make for a very exciting weigh in. Captain’s Party is Thursday night, The Black Honkeys are performing Friday night and the weigh in starts at 4pm Saturday with events happening all day long. Come check it out.
