This season has been an unforgettable ride! Although we didn't finish as we'd hoped, I'm beaming with pride over all the parents, players, and coaches. We've overcome obstacles and grown from them! The Skeeters legacy will endure for a long time.

Good weekend for both Skeeter teams.
The 9U group has found their groove, winning two tournaments in a row. They now understand how difficult this game can be and how failure is just simply going to happen. It's been great to see them play through that failure and to start to learn how to control the things that are controllable - attitude, effort, preparedness - and they are now playing with confidence.
The 14U group has had a tough first couple of weeks. It's not that they played bad - all close games - but they were just still finding their feet as a new team. Well, they found them. It was great to see this group working hard, supporting each other, and encouraging each other. This is a great group of young men - most of whom we have coached since they first started putting on cleats. It's just something special to see them still performing and playing the game that they love.
