Easy meal prep idea, buy chicken breast from Sam’s $2.70 a lbs, cut it up and season it, cook it whichever method you prefer(not fried) I personally prefer the air fryer. Cook 1 cup of rice. Exact portion sizes will depend on your lean body mass and goals. But let’s say you cook 8 oz of chicken and 1 cup of cooked rice.
3 grams of fat, 446 total calories, 60 grams of protein( aprox.) and the whole meal cost you $1.50 to make(.10 for cooked cup of rice) feel free to replace the rice with brócoli or asparagus if you are trying to keep you carbs lower. Does anyone else have any good recipes they would like to share. I think cooking and meal prep are some of the biggest challenges most people face on their fitness journey!
