It is with heavy hearts that the Upper Michigan Ice Racing Association shares the passing of one of our own, an amazing ice racer, Jerod Guoan #888.
Jerod had a passion for racing that radiated from him. Whether on the starting line, flying across the ice, or battling wheel-to-wheel with his siblings, he was an outstanding competitor who always put on an incredible show.
Beyond his talent on the track, Jerod was known for his smile, his kindness, and his willingness to help a fellow racer in need. He embodied what true sportsmanship meant and represented the very best of our racing community.
Jerod, UMIRA will greatly miss seeing you and your red #888 studded quad tearing across the ice. The memories, friendships, and excitement you brought to our sport will never be forgotten.
We know you’re spinning laps up there now, wide open and free.
🏁Fly high, Jerod 🏁
Please keep Jerod’s family, friends, and fellow racers in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Forever part of the UMIRA racing family. #888
