🏗️🏍️ The Mini/Intermediate Track is getting some LONG-overdue love! 🙌

While the main track tends to get most of the attention at Dry Lake Motocross Park, our "Kid Track" was definitely ready for a facelift. Yesterday, we were fortunate to have Zach with Black Dog Dirt & Iron come spend the entire day helping us refurbish and repair it. This popular track had some serious bomb holes in the landings, moth-eaten jump lips, low areas that collected water between the jumps, and plenty of other spots that needed some TLC. A huge thank you to Zach for sharing his time and expertise with us! 🙌

Zach was supported by Pete, Scott, Jonnie & Jen, running the other equipment, moving dirt, and keeping everything watered. 💦🚜 It was a full day of work, and the track is looking SO much better!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The work is NOT quite finished yet! ⚠️

The track can be ridden gently in its current condition, but please USE CAUTION. There are still dirt piles, holes, and unfinished areas while construction is underway. Please watch where you're riding and don't tear up or alter any of the freshly constructed features before we're able to finish them.

We're very close and can't wait to get this track finished and ready for our younger and intermediate riders to enjoy! 🏍️💨

🚜 And check out our new Yanmar skid steer at work! This machine was acquired with grant funding from the Colorado Parks & Wildlife OHV Program, made possible by Colorado OHV registration dollars. This is a great example of those OHV dollars being put right back into riding opportunities! 🙌

Thank you to Colorado Parks & Wildlife and everyone who registers their OHVs. Your registration dollars help fund projects and improvements like this throughout Colorado. This is also why a current OHV registration sticker is required to ride at Dry Lake MX Park. 🏍️

Bob got it freshly tilled today just before the rain, perfect timing to let that moisture soak in and the dirt settle before the weekend. 👌
