Paul VI High School Baseball

Unfortunately our season has come to end and while it had its ups and downs, I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish on the field. I’m more proud of the relationships that were built among the boys. We’ll miss the Seniors next year (tomorrow), but we won’t forget them. We are looking forward to the next season, creating new goals and keeping our team spirit alive. Thank you to all the parents, PVI staff & alumni for all the support this year. And thank you to Coach Danny, Coach Bill and Coach Ricky for helping and supporting the players all season long. Until next year! 🦅💙🤍🖤

Senior Night was filled with tears, cheers, and memories that will be cherished forever. It was the perfect culmination of four years of hard work, laughs, and lifelong friendships. No better way to top it off, then a 5-2 Victory 🦅💙🤍🖤

What a Fun Day!!!
Parent teams take both games from the boys in walk off fashion… They played hard and with a lot of grit to take down their boys!

Game 1 - V parents walked it off in the bottom of the 9th with a sacrifice fly to win 6-5
(Overall Outstanding Defensive Performance from both parents and players)

Game 2 - JV parents walked it off in the bottom of the 12th to win 10-9
(Key big hits from the players had them in front most of the game but the small ball approach, get on, get em over, get em in kept the parents in it and brought them back late to tie it up in the 9th then take the W in extra)

Parent Highlights From Both Games:
~“Diving” stop at SS with a throw from the knees in time….
~RBI 1b from a Mom…
~3 (Yes 3) Tumbling Dads onto their backs trying to make a catch, all unsuccessful…
~ Several parents recording outs on their own kids lol
~Mom baserunner absolutely crushing the first baseman on a wild throw to advance into scoring position
(not her kid, but he went flying to the ground, “whatever it takes”)

Boys, better luck next year!!!
