No racing for us this weekend we will be back next weekend for double features 🏁

We made our first show with the Mason Dixon 270 Racing Series had 35 cars signed in.

We drew pill 37 put us 7th in the first heat. Had a messed up start with the cars in front and we drove to 4th place they was only taking top 5 from each heat straight to the A-main. We also had the 4th fastest lap time overall in heat races out of 35 cars with a 11.996.

Feature: we started 17th we was up to about 14th or 13th in 4 laps and I checked up just a little so I didn’t get into the car infront of me and I ended up getting spun and had no where to go got the left rear ran over and the left front of the steering broke and which they also had no where to go. Is what it is it’s racing we will be back this weekend.

Path Valley Speedway Park recap from last night. Pill draw was great pulled a 1 put me 1st in the first heat. Off the start car didn’t want to shift so dropped back to third hung there for a few laps then on the last lap made the move to 2nd and finished 2nd.

Feature: started 4th was in 4th till i drove in turn 3-4 alittle too hard and checked up and when I did i spun. So to the tail of the field I went put me 15th and I was bound and determined to be in the top 10 and I drove my way to 8th in a few laps and finished 8th. Definitely could’ve been a lot better but the car is in one piece.

Well nothing to hang our heads about last night had a great car out of the box for the first race of 2024.
We went out for hot laps car felt good but I felt it could be better so we made some changes for the heat race.

Heat race:
Started 4th came up the field in the first lap and grabbed 2nd.

Feature:
We start 3rd didn’t know what to expect track was alittle rough and started to slick off so we just kept the car how it was from the heat race. As expected about half way through car got loose so I moved the wing it helped but was still loose dropped back to 5th and came home 5th. Appreciate all the help from everyone who’s helped out. Thanks to dad,mom, and Madison for the endless support and Denny Rinehimer for the motor help whenever we need it.
