Following a series of medical evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation under the care of Flyers medical team, I am making progress and feeling better each day. Despite being cleared to travel and skate with the team at certain practices, things did not progress at a pace that I hoped for or would allow me to safely continue playing.
I am beyond proud of what our team has accomplished this season and truly moved by the tremendous support of the fans.

Too many kids are being taught that effort guarantees opportunity.

Then they enter environments where politics, money, and favoritism seem louder than performance.

That confusion breaks confidence.

Not because kids expect things handed to them.

But because they expect fairness.

Every player can handle losing.
Every player can handle competition.

What destroys people mentally is feeling like they never truly had a chance to begin with.

And the dangerous part?

Some of the best future leaders, teammates, and players walk away from hockey because of that feeling.

The game loses good people when environments stop feeling honest.

That should concern everyone who says they care about growing hockey.
