Horse friends are the best friends

Congratulations to Maddie and Avni on a great outing to the coexist.stables snowflake series show yesterday to kick off our winter show season and the restart of the BDH show team! As the girls said, “we didn’t ride as well as we do athome but we met our goals” and I couldn’t be prouder of that thinking! It only gets better from here!

It’s a little scary how good these girls are getting at IM injections. 2 horses starting adequan means lots of opportunities for students to learn a new skill

Congratulations to Avni and Pixie on a fantastic first show at Blue Ridge Riding Club today! They came away with a clean sweep in the short stirrup division and 1,4,5 in the W/T division. Riley and Pixie also earned at 6th in leadline! This was a great outing and we can’t wait to attend more of their schooling shows with more students!

This is the program that Skyler, Wish & Alfie retired to. If you are able to help tomorrow or in the day leading up to the event, let me know! Students- I will be reaching out with some additional opportunities to help with this!

And most recently was our trip to State Fair! It was a hot and busy weekend and also the first time these girls competed in WTC classes. They had so many personal accomplishments and the best was seeing them set goals for their horses and being proud of their horses for performing to the best of their abilities and giving them grace and understanding when there were mistakes.

Madeleine & Blossom- Grand Champion Jr Showmanship, Reserve Champion Jr Pleasure Equitation, 5, 6, 10 in the Jr/pony pleasure classes

Monica & Miss Kitty- 4, 6, 6, 10 in very large intermediate/horse pleasure classes of up to 18

Chloe & Ruby- 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8 in the intermediate western show. The proudest achievement was the 7th place ribbons that matched their ensemble 😆

Catching up from this summer! Washington County Ag Expo & Fair 4-H horse show! It was a small show, long day, late night, last minute change ups, and buckets of sweat. But it was worth it!
