Mom and dad decided to hit up our favorite place to eat. While the boys are watching the 500 with Nanny and Pappy. Should have taken a picture of our food but it didn't last long enough. Thanks Vinnie's on 11, the fajitas were awesome and Sam loved her fried pickles.

So this weekend before the snow hit our driver's took a road trip to hopefully get a seat for DJ. We made the trip to the parking lot of the greater Philadelphia expo center. We met the Larry in the parking lot and dj sat in the seat. He said it was a good fit so we paid for it and he carried it to the car. While we were there we picked up Gunnar Wall's seat to take back home to him. We made a slight detour on the way home to see where our new (to us) chassis are made. Hyper Racing chassis was closed but we jumped out and took a couple selfies in front of their sign on the front of their shop. It was a fun trip that took the better part of 8 hours. We made stops at Chick-fil-A, McDonald's, and Texas Roadhouse (to give Gunnar his seat. DJ has already raced in his new seat. Will try to get a picture of that tonight.

Racing isn’t just about winning trophies. It’s about learning respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We see drivers helping each other in the pits, shaking hands after tough races, and cheering for friends—even competitors. That’s what real champions do.

Last night, DJ along with his friend Abby, received the sportsmanship award at the Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown banquet for the Hagerstown Quarter Midget Association- HQMA.

We thank both clubs for closing this chapter of his quarter midget career.
