Wed 8/7 at 4:30pm - State Champ Funkstown American Legion plays Wilm NC in the Regionals - Cheer them on to the World Series!

Fri, 8/9 at 5:30pm - Hagerstown Pony League 14 year olds vs. Puerto Rico in the Pony League World Series.

Drinks are cold - Food is hot. (We'll do our best to show both games, but we are at the mercy of the live streams which are not always reliable.)

Come out to Hagerstown Pony League, starting on Monday, for the best 2 out 3 Championship rounds and root on Green Turtle vs UAW for the title of 2019 League Champions.

Hagerstown Pony UAW Claims Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat Redmen

Hagerstown Pony UAW snagged a late lead and defeated Redmen 5-3 on Friday. The game was tied at two with Hagerstown Pony UAW batting in the top of the fifth when H Muir induced Jake McAllister to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Hagerstown Pony UAW fired up the offense in the first inning, when McAllister singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Redmen tied things up at two. K Knode drove in one when he doubled.

After Hagerstown Pony UAW scored one run in the top of the seventh, Redmen answered with one of their own. Redmen then answered when J Cunningham singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Collin Irish earned the win for Hagerstown Pony UAW. He allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five. McAllister threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

D Albowitz took the loss for Redmen. He surrendered two runs on three hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Hagerstown Pony UAW had 11 hits in the game. Carter Conroy, Carson Casey, Dom Ross, and Kristian Holloway all collected multiple hits for Hagerstown Pony UAW. Conroy went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hagerstown Pony UAW in hits. Hagerstown Pony UAW was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ross made the most plays with ten.

Cunningham led Redmen with two hits in four at bats.
